Part of the Narnia series, ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ is the story of the beginning of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, how it came to be created, and how the door between this world and that came into being. We meet the creator, Aslan the great Lion, and learn how the wicked White Witch enters the world of Narnia, to emerge centuries later to enslave the land in perpetual winter. ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ is best read at any point in the series before ‘The Last Battle’, and after ‘The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe’.
