I would like to dare to post something beyond tech-issues so that blaudience may know that this is not an exclusive techy blog

TEACHERS: A delusive reality  in the virtual  globe

‘Delusion’- I would call it as the  new synonym of ‘reality in the hi-tech world. In this fuzzy world, by the advent of information superhighway & 4G technologies the distances have been shortened to such an extent that information is in our fingertips at millionth of a second & can experience anything without being to such an atmosphere

(for  eg ,we can experience the feeling of being in the outer space without being out there). We’ve been witnessing the dawn of quality products such as TATA’S NANO car

HCL’S MY LEAP laptops @ the best quality but @ the lowest cost.

This technological revolution has been a medium for a giant leap in our educational sector. We ‘ve seen the birth of our educational system dates back to the prehistoric times ie from the epics itself  from the GURUKULA system & the structural transformation of the system through residential universities like Nalanda & Takshashila and to schools which emerged to world class institutions like IIT’S&IIM’S and it has reached till KPO’S (knowledge processing & outsourcing). These developments’ve  countributed a  handful towards India becoming a fast developing state.

Still then we’ve missed our manipulations somewhere. We made SOMETHING lost on the road to development .Oh no! it’s better to say that our cosmopolitan culture has replaced our value system. Where we have missed the goal? Let’s check it out!!!!!!!!

The ‘TEACHER’ community is something to be  enlisted in the endangered species list .Even though quoted sarcastically,it’s the reality. The art of pedagogy has shrunken to the  the extent of a ‘mouseclick’.Who is the major convict in this dilemma? We the gennext never treat them as if  GOD-like?Why such a degradation

took place?

From my point of view , I’ve found some reasons for this catastrophe and let me list a few.

TECHNOLOGICAL BOOM

The technology has played a major role in developing this catastrophe.Technology has led pedagogoical technology from  palm leaves  to palmtops.  The advent of virtual classrooms by KPO boom have enabled students to study without seeing the teacher. The

Resource libraries provided by the most prestigious universities like Massachuchetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by electronic medias like internet have made students to make feel that they can study anything &everything without a teacher.the new technologies of videoconferencing  mode of lecturing the student community  have reached the remotest village of India. The teaching community is also milking this opportunity by providing their notes to famous universities  &demanding it’s  royalty.

The technology will   go on &on as long  as man exists. We cannot curb it’s leaps & bounds as it’s an essential for the development of our lives. But what about the other reasons?

We can never blame technology alone!!!!!!b’coz without technology we wouldn’t have been  in this comfort zone today…I wouldnot like to complete this article right here.Set on from this juncture.Cite out other dreaded criminals responsible for this ‘delusion’ .Join this lively discussion and think whether we could bring up a renaissance in this globe…….
