Oh!What a lie!!
Across the relations……….
Etched in blood
That was never the first wave
That flashed through our souls
When the arrow struck the core
.
We knew it could never
Part us from each other
Love has lost its creativity
It has become practical now
Just like another
Preoccupied chore of the day
Were we being ‘just pals’
For a long time?
But our souls never
Found each other
No!! it pretended
That it hasn’t seen
The ‘ME’ in ‘YOU’
It wasn’t by chance
We found each other
And it wasn’t wonderful
B’coz You and I
Were too late
Though too late
We boggled over our
Minds in confusion
What to tell?
When to tell and
How to tell?
We always knew each other
That we were the
Birds of the same flock
But our minds hesitated
To say yes to that truth.
It always asked HOW?
HOW could you break over
The thread of emotions
That locks you up
In fetters of luv of
Your Kith and kin?
As time flown
We became the
Dearest pals
Through silence
Through those
Dimpled smirks
And short glances
The traitors of our luv
Distance never proved
A fortress between us
Because our minds
Knew no bounds
Minds were like the
Hot kilns of
Red hot bricks
What to tell???
Alas!!!
You told your soul
“He is as dearest as they are”
But always the essence of luv
Lies in SACRIFICE.
We didn’t knew
How to bid adieu?
What plaintive tone
Shall we play?
We never knew whether
It shall end like the
Ordinary melancholy
Love dramas!!
Not a tear has
Flown from our eyes
I wondered why?
And he told me
“B’coz we are not parting”
But voyaging to
Meet as soulmates
Until the round Earth
Let us to meet again!!!!
And what was the reason
to part? Oh no!! for the journey
We asked each other
And we told in each others ears
“Love stood astonished
Across the relations
Etched in blood”
We uttered a soliloquy
“Oh! WHAT A LIE”
Neither of us heard the other
But our eyes betrayed
Us and told
“luv is blind
But here we are more
Blind on sacrifice for luv……..”
